Storyboard...

On Tuesday we was asked to create a storyboard for the Luther clip. Although my drawing skills were not the best I really enjoyed this activity as it showed a clear layout of the plan for the Luther clip.

Luther video clip...

Last lesson in media we watched a 2 minuite clip from the TV drama Luther. The clip was the opening of Luther and it kept us all hooked through out, with the added unexpected moment at the end. The different camera angles gradually built up the suspense and kept us the viewers watching to find out what was about to happen. Below is a screen shot of the clip:

Favourite female actor

Amanda Seyfried-

My favourite female actor would have to be Amanda Seyfried. Out of the many films she has been in, Dear John, Mamma Mia, Mean girls, to name a few, her talented skills as a actor allow her to bring every role she plays to life. Although she is now considered a very famous actor her mild roles in films such as Mean Girls did not show her full ability as an actor, now she is staring in the award winning Les Miserables which reflects her true skills. This is why Amanda Seyfried is my favourite female actor.

Favourite Male Actor

Colin Firth-

My Favourite male actor would have to be Colin Firth. Most famous for his roles as King George VI in The King’s Speech and Mark Darcy in Bridget Jones diary, Colin has played many complex roles which have really stretched him as a actor to show his full ability. Although he has played many serious roles he has also appeared in many comedies such as Mamma Mia, Love Actually and St Trinians. My favourite role of his was playing Mark Darcy in Bridget Jones' Diary, his ability to take on the role of the upper class Mark Darcy made the character so famous today. To go form singing and dancing in Mamma Mia to his award winning role in The Kings Speech Colin Firth has accepted any role put in front of him and form my point of view succeeded every time. This is why Colin Firth is my favourite actor.

Favourite film...

Grown Ups-

It is very difficult for me to pick a favourite film as there are so many that I love, but after a lot of thought and consideration my favourite film would have to be 'Grown Ups'. This feel good comedy always keeps me laughing throughout no matter how many times I watch it.The film shows the main character "Lenny", who is a very successful Hollywood director, try to show his two children that they don't need to have all the materialistic things in their lives to have fun and enjoy themselves as they have been brought to have anything they want. As you get to know each of the families and their personalities you grow to love them even more, and have so much fun watching what they get up to. This is why grown ups is my favourite film.
